The placement of the PillowWeight was originally intended for balance. We were dissatisfied with the appearance and feel of bean bags, which are a popular solution on Reddit. However, we discovered a significant benefit in securing the PillowWeight inside the pillow cover, at the center of the backside. This design causes the weight to draw the excess pillow cover material towards the back, resulting in a tight, full, and neatly shaped pillow. The weight is so slender and gentle that its contours are imperceptible, unless the pillow cover is extremely thin, and even then, it feels nice to the touch.
